A trav\u00e9s de la direcci\u00f3n de Cuencas, Riego y Drenaje, la Prefectura de Esmeraldas realiz\u00f3 el lanzamiento del programa de reforestaci\u00f3n de cuencas h\u00eddricas en el cant\u00f3n Atacames. El evento se desarroll\u00f3 en el recinto Chapil, de la parroquia Tonsupa, lugar donde se realiz\u00f3 la entrega de m\u00e1s de 5 mil plantas de especies forestales para ser sembradas a orillas del rio Salima, y 2 mil m\u00e1s, como incentivo al campesino, para la siembra de cultivos de cacao y c\u00edtricos.<\/p>

Gil O\u00f1ate Mero<\/strong>, fue el encargado de dar las palabras de bienvenida. Resalt\u00f3 la importancia del programa de cuidado de las cuencas hidrogr\u00e1ficas, como fuente principal para la obtenci\u00f3n del agua.<\/p>

Juan Carlos C\u00f3rdova<\/strong>, director de Cuencas Riego y Drenaje de la Prefectura de Esmeraldas, destac\u00f3 que, la reforestaci\u00f3n de las cuencas h\u00eddricas es el principal eje de trabajo del equipo al cual representa. La meta, es intervenir 36 kil\u00f3metros longitudinales, como parte del programa que ha logrado hasta la fecha, la entrega de 110 mil plantas y la intervenci\u00f3n de aproximadamente 400 hect\u00e1reas de tierra en toda la provincia.<\/p>

Di\u00f3genes Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, presidente del Gobierno Parroquial de Tonsupa, enfoc\u00f3 su intervenci\u00f3n en agradecer las acciones puestas en marcha por la Prefectura de Esmeraldas, bajo la intenci\u00f3n de ayudar a desarrollar su parroquia, el cant\u00f3n y la provincia.<\/p>

Wilfredo Sosa<\/strong>, presidente del consejo comunal de Salima, indic\u00f3 que, gracias al trabajo en equipo entre la Junta Parroquial y la Prefectura de Esmeraldas, se logr\u00f3 obtener la ejecuci\u00f3n del programa de reforestaci\u00f3n y limpieza de cuencas h\u00eddricas.<\/p>

El evento cont\u00f3 con la presencia de la prefecta de Esmeraldas, Roberta Zambrano<\/strong>. Ella inici\u00f3 su intervenci\u00f3n recordando la responsabilidad del pueblo esmeralde\u00f1o, al haber elegido en el pasado, autoridades que no cumplieron con los trabajos requeridos por el sector campesino.<\/p>

Durante el evento, tambi\u00e9n se realiz\u00f3 la entrega de ayudas t\u00e9cnicas, herramientas de siembra, un contenedor para el desalojo de desechos<\/p>
