Este a\u00f1o, gracias a la coordinaci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicos de la Direcci\u00f3n de Asistencia Social, Inclusi\u00f3n y Participaci\u00f3n (DASIP), pertenecientes a la Prefectura de Esmeraldas, miembros de la Junta Parroquial de Tonchig\u00fce, y voluntarios, los actos de festejo, en alusi\u00f3n a este d\u00eda, se trasladaron hasta el cant\u00f3n Atacames, sur de la provincia.<\/p><p>Adultos mayores como <strong>Pepito Reyes<\/strong> y <strong>Eloy Le\u00f3n Ballesteros<\/strong>, agradecieron el hecho de celebrar la fecha m\u00e1s importante para quienes se encuentran viviendo la \u201cEdad Dorada\u201d.<\/p><p>Durante un recorrido puerta a puerta, visitando y entregando ayudas humanitarias a personas pertenecientes a este grupo vulnerable; <strong>Samuel C\u00e9lleri<\/strong>, Director de Acci\u00f3n Social y Participaci\u00f3n, record\u00f3 la importancia de conmemorar estas fechas, con la finalidad de crear conciencia social.<\/p><p>EL evento de car\u00e1cter incluyente cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de la <strong>Prefecta<\/strong> de Esmeraldas, quien, entre otras cosas, insisti\u00f3 en la importancia de revalorar el arte de servir a trav\u00e9s de la pol\u00edtica.<\/p><p><strong>Romina Plaza<\/strong>, reina de la parroquia Tonchig\u00fce, y <strong>Angie Merl\u00edn<\/strong>, reina de la provincia, fueron parte del festejo que llev\u00f3 serenata, recuerdos, raciones alimenticias y elementos de bioseguridad.
