La Prefectura de Esmeraldas emiti\u00f3 un pronunciamiento oficial en el que rechaza categ\u00f3ricamente cualquier intento de apropiaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica o electoral de la construcci\u00f3n de la carretera Chontaduro – Chumund\u00e9, ubicada en el cant\u00f3n Rioverde. La instituci\u00f3n ratific\u00f3 que esta obra responde a un trabajo articulado directo con el Gobierno Nacional, bajo el liderazgo del presidente Daniel Noboa Az\u00edn.<\/p>

El proyecto vial cuenta con una inversi\u00f3n que supera los 7 millones de d\u00f3lares, financiada en su totalidad por el Gobierno Nacional, y contempla la participaci\u00f3n de la Prefectura de Esmeraldas a trav\u00e9s de su empresa p\u00fablica ECODEP.<\/p>

La administraci\u00f3n provincial, encabezada por el prefecto Diego Zambrano Loor, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que ciertos candidatos pretenden atribuirse de forma individual las gestiones y los resultados de este proyecto.<\/p>

Ante esto, la Prefectura hizo un llamado a reconocer con transparencia las responsabilidades y aportes de cada instituci\u00f3n, exhortando a no desinformar a la ciudadan\u00eda ni a utilizar las necesidades de las comunidades locales con fines proselitistas.<\/p>
