La prefecta de Esmeraldas, Roberta Zambrano, anunci\u00f3 que la Prefectura ceder\u00e1 un espacio en la planta baja del edificio central para que el Registro Civil brinde atenci\u00f3n directa a los habitantes del cant\u00f3n Esmeraldas. Con esta gesti\u00f3n, la ciudadan\u00eda ya no tendr\u00e1 que movilizarse hasta Atacames para obtener la c\u00e9dula, pasaporte u otros servicios.<\/p>

El Mag\u00edster Ott\u00f3n Rivadeneira, director general del Registro Civil, mantuvo una reuni\u00f3n de coordinaci\u00f3n interinstitucional con la Prefecta para evaluar y concretar la implementaci\u00f3n de los servicios de cedulaci\u00f3n en las instalaciones de la Prefectura de Esmeraldas. El objetivo es fortalecer la cooperaci\u00f3n entre ambas instituciones y facilitar el acceso a tr\u00e1mites ciudadanos en un lugar c\u00e9ntrico y accesible.<\/p>

La prefecta Roberta Zambrano expres\u00f3 que, como esmeralde\u00f1a, siempre respaldar\u00e1 a las instituciones que trabajen por el bienestar de la provincia. Por ello, dispuso la instalaci\u00f3n de una oficina del Registro Civil en los bajos de la Prefectura, donde inicialmente se atender\u00e1 inicialmente, todos los d\u00edas martes, de 08h00 a 17h00. La fecha de inicio de atenci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 comunicada oportunamente a la ciudadan\u00eda.<\/p>

Durante el encuentro, la Prefecta agradeci\u00f3 al director del Registro Civil por el compromiso institucional y destac\u00f3 la importancia de la c\u00e9dula digital, un documento v\u00e1lido para todo tipo de tr\u00e1mites.
