Esta iniciativa fue organizada por la Prefectura de Esmeraldas, a trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Ambiental, en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Fundaci\u00f3n Ayuda en Acci\u00f3n y el Ministerio de Ambiente.<\/p><p>La jornada permiti\u00f3 no solo mejorar el entorno natural de Chamanga, sino tambi\u00e9n concienciar a la comunidad sobre la importancia de proteger los humedales, ecosistemas claves para la biodiversidad y la mitigaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico. La ingeniera Pamela Camacho, t\u00e9cnica de la Direcci\u00f3n de Gesti\u00f3n Ambiental del GAD Provincial de Esmeraldas, destac\u00f3 el impacto positivo de esta acci\u00f3n: \u201cCon la participaci\u00f3n de los estudiantes buscamos generar conciencia ambiental y hacer algo positivo por nuestro entorno. Los humedales cumplen funciones vitales para la naturaleza y su protecci\u00f3n es fundamental\u201d.<\/p><p>Por su parte, Katherine Bucheli, t\u00e9cnica ambiental de la Fundaci\u00f3n Ayuda en Acci\u00f3n, enfatiz\u00f3 la necesidad de sensibilizar a la ciudadan\u00eda frente a esta problem\u00e1tica ambiental: \u201cLa cantidad de residuos que se acumulan en los humedales es preocupante. Con esta actividad logramos recolectar m\u00e1s de 120 sacos de desechos, un esfuerzo significativo que demuestra el compromiso de los j\u00f3venes con el ambiente\u201d.<\/p><p>Los estudiantes tambi\u00e9n compartieron sus reflexiones tras la jornada. Cesia Llumiquinga destac\u00f3 la importancia de evitar la contaminaci\u00f3n: \u201cAprendimos que cada peque\u00f1a acci\u00f3n cuenta y que debemos ser responsables con nuestros desechos\u201d. Mientras tanto, Kevin Ram\u00edrez hizo un llamado a la comunidad: \u201cSi queremos un futuro m\u00e1s limpio, todos debemos aportar con peque\u00f1as acciones para proteger la naturaleza\u201d.<\/p><p>Esta actividad reafirma el compromiso de las instituciones organizadoras con la protecci\u00f3n de los humedales y la educaci\u00f3n ambiental.
