Con el prop\u00f3sito de resaltar el importante rol que desempe\u00f1an los hombres en la sociedad, el Gobierno Aut\u00f3nomo Descentralizado de la Provincia de Esmeraldas organiz\u00f3 un taller dirigido a los funcionarios masculinos de la instituci\u00f3n. El evento se llev\u00f3 a cabo la ma\u00f1ana de este lunes 18 de noviembre en el Sal\u00f3n C\u00edvico T\u00e1cito Ortiz Urriola, como parte de las actividades para conmemorar el D\u00eda Internacional del Hombre, celebrado cada 19 de noviembre.<\/p>

El D\u00eda Internacional del Hombre, establecido en 1992 en Estados Unidos y popularizado a nivel global desde 1999, busca promover la salud masculina, la igualdad de g\u00e9nero, y destacar las contribuciones positivas de los hombres en sus comunidades. Asimismo, fomenta valores como la paz, la equidad, la no violencia, la tolerancia y el entendimiento.<\/p>

Juliana de Le\u00f3n, representante de la Direcci\u00f3n de Acci\u00f3n Social, Inclusi\u00f3n y Participaci\u00f3n (DASIP), destac\u00f3 el compromiso de la Prefectura con actividades que promuevan la reflexi\u00f3n sobre el papel del hombre en el hogar, la sociedad y el trabajo. \u201cCon estas charlas y capacitaciones, buscamos potenciar el respeto y reconocimiento hacia los hombres, promoviendo un balance en sus diferentes roles\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3.<\/p>

Entre los asistentes, \u00c1lex Estupi\u00f1\u00e1n, Comisario del Ambiente, agradeci\u00f3 el gesto de la prefecta Roberta Zambrano, calificando la actividad como una muestra de motivaci\u00f3n y reconocimiento hacia el personal masculino. Por su parte, Jorge Estupi\u00f1\u00e1n, de la Direcci\u00f3n de Planificaci\u00f3n, expres\u00f3 su satisfacci\u00f3n por el taller, al considerarlo un homenaje merecido.<\/p>

Eladio Qui\u00f1\u00f3nez, miembro de la Unidad de Asistencia M\u00e9dica, Cultura y Deportes (UNAMYDESC), valor\u00f3 la gesti\u00f3n inclusiva de la administraci\u00f3n actual. \u201cEs motivador ver c\u00f3mo se da tanta importancia al D\u00eda del Hombre como al D\u00eda de la Mujer. Estas acciones nos inspiran y nos hacen sentir valorados\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>
