Continuando con las celebraciones por los 175 A\u00f1os de Provincializaci\u00f3n, la Prefectura de Esmeraldas a trav\u00e9s de la Unidad de Asistencia M\u00e9dica, Desarrollo Social y Cultural (UNAMYDESC), realiz\u00f3 un evento intercolegial que se vivi\u00f3 con pasi\u00f3n, creatividad y orgullo por las ra\u00edces afros.<\/p>

Con mucho entusiasmo y representando la cultura ancestral, estudiantes de las Unidades Educativas: Margarita Cort\u00e9s, Luis Vargas Torres, Luis Prado Viteri y Modesto Su\u00e1rez Pimentel, participaron del Festival Folcl\u00f3rico Estudiantil “Tradiciones de mi Pueblo”.<\/p>

El evento cultural se realiz\u00f3 en la Unidad Educativa Margarita Cort\u00e9s. Eduardo Gracia, especialista de Cultura de Unamydesc, indic\u00f3 que, con creatividad, colorido y amor a las ra\u00edces afros, la Prefectura de Esmeraldas fomenta actividades culturales en beneficio de los adolescentes y j\u00f3venes de la provincia.<\/p>

\u201cMe encuentro muy orgullosa de representar a mis ra\u00edces, agradezco a la prefecta Roberta Zambrano, por rescatar nuestras ra\u00edces ancestrales\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3, Mait\u00e9 Arroyo de la Unidad Educativa Margarita Cort\u00e9s.<\/p>

Por su parte, Mar\u00eda Valverde del colegio Modesto Suarez Pimentel, expres\u00f3 que, la Prefectura de Esmeraldas impulsa un proyecto espectacular, enfocado en mantener viva la marimba, contribuyendo al desarrollo de los j\u00f3venes esmeralde\u00f1os.<\/p>

Los ganadores del Festival Folcl\u00f3rico Estudiantil “Tradiciones de mi Pueblo”, fueron los representantes de la Unidad Educativa Luis Prado Viteri.
